Dr. Elizabeth Walsh earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from North Carolina State University in 2018. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023.
Born in Ohio, Dr. Walsh moved to North Carolina during middle school. She knew from a young age that she wanted to be a veterinarian, inspired by her love of animals and countless hours spent playing outside in nature.
Dr. Walsh believes in partnering closely with pet owners, ensuring they feel heard and are on the same page when developing a treatment plan for their companion. Her veterinary interests include geriatric medicine, pain management and improving mobility and quality of life, rehabilitation and sports medicine, low-stress and Fear Free handling, and all things cats. She is pursuing advanced certifications in acupuncture, chiropractic care, and Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine (VCHM) as part of her commitment to integrative medicine.
When not working, Dr. Walsh enjoys traveling, exploring nature, reading, music, and experiencing new foods and cultures.
