Erica

Erica only ever envisioned one career path, and that was to be a vet. After a couple of years in college, she had to give up that dream due to financial constraints.

But she did the next best thing and in 2002, she started at the bottom as a vet assistant. Within 2 years, she was the Lead Vet Assistant - in charge of managing and trainging all the new assistants/ tech's for surgery, rooms and treatment. She gives special thanks and gratitude to one of her mentors, Dr. Greco, whom she is still dear friends with!

From 2002 to 2015, she continued as a Lead or senior vet assistant but decided to shift to reception in mid-2015 . She enjoys sharing her knowledge in all things vet med and enjoys learning new things everyday.

Her free time is spent basking in the sunshine and enjoying the water with her fiance. She also enjoys taking care of her 90 gallon salt water aquarium (which usually has a lionfish, zebra eel and niger trigger). She gets pretty giddy over all cats, especially her fav: black cats. She has 2 tuxedo's at home: Sasha, and her big Maine Coon mix, Ollie, both of which she got from rescues as kittens:)
